Trauma Medical Director Opening at State Level III Program
We are looking for an experienced Trauma Director to help expand this State Level III trauma center in Virginia. With over 17 years’ experience in trauma management, Extant Healthcare was founded and is still led by trauma surgeons.

Bon Secours- Southside Medical Center is a 300-bed facility located on a 50-acre campus with nearly 400 physicians representing more than 40 specialties. We are a center for both learning and practicing innovative medicine, with three professional schools on our campus. Our facility services the communities of Petersburg, Hopewell, Colonial Heights, Fort Lee and Chester as well as the counties of Prince George, Dinwiddie, Sussex, Surry and Southern Chesterfield.

Trauma Director Criteria:

  • Board General Surgery with Trauma/ Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Required
  • Experience with ACS guidelines & strong leadership skills
  • 24-hour call from home (12/ shifts per month)
